Client: FL Government AgencyPosition: Database AdministratorTerm: Sept. 2026 - June 2027 with renewalPay: = $60/Hr - $62/Hr Location: ON SITE - Tallahassee, FL Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLYEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.ExperienceThe candidate must have five (5) years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:Expert in SQL Server 2012, and aboveOracle 10g and above MUST HAVE experience with GIS and spatial databases Experience with Azure & AWS SQLand tools are a plusExperience with managing ArcGIS for Server is a plusResponsibilitiesDaily operational and database administration activitiesPlan, design, implement, support for database structuresConduct database performance monitoring and tuningDevelop and maintain database administration procedures and documentationPerform SQL Code reviewsAssist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requestedSupport database activities for application enhancements and rewrites.
