The position requires a versatile individual capable of performing a range of maintenance tasks and ensuring the overall well-being of the community.Job ResponsibilitiesWork safely and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Maintain property curb appealAssist and performs all aspects of the property's maintenance, including grounds, housekeeping, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.Interior common area and exterior maintenanceWork may include accessing flats or low slope roofs, attics, crawl spaces and use of laddersManage recycling and trash, including trash enclosures and compactor roomsAssist with weather-related cleanup, including snow and ice managementAmenity and common area cleaningUphold appearance grounds and common areasPerform make-ready, including cleaning and painting (full and touch-up painting interior walls, exterior walls, doors, etc..)Perform light audits and light bulb replacementMaintain and inspect shop, storerooms, equipment, and golf cartsAttend associate meetings, safety meetings, and required trainingAssist at other communities as requestedClean, vacuum & balance poolsOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:EPA certificationWillingness to learn and grow from Supervisor and trainings offered through BillingsleyFundamentals of mechanical systemsAble to organize, prioritize and plan your dayCommon use of computer skills; and able to use a smart phone (Yardi Mobile app)Ability to use hand tools normally used in construction, maintenance and landscaping including all chemicals associated with maintenance and landscaping essential job functions.Ability to properly utilize hand and power tools including but not limited to circular saw, power drill, bench grinder, hedge trimmer, key machine, paint sprayer and power floor cleanerAbility to use motorized vehicles/golf cartAble to work on call shifts, overtime, and weekend hoursWillingness to wear company-provided uniform during working hours.Physical Requirements :Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walkingAbility to climb ladders, step stools, etc.Ability to enter confined spacesMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
