Vernon, OH (On-site)Employment Type: Contract to HirePay Rate: $18.50 per hourSchedule: Nights, 12-hour shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am), 2-2-3 schedule Job OverviewWe are seeking entry-level Packaging Machine Operators to join our production team in Mt. Vernon, OH. This role is essential to the packaging and quality of our finished goods and includes routine cleaning, machine operation, and supporting processes throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities Spot and move outbound trucks to material load docks, ensuring proper dock-lock proceduresReclaim off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeed materials to forehearthOperate the packaging equipment by placing bags on bagger snouts and ensuring proper packaging of finished materialPerform general cleanup duties (sweeping floors, blowing down lines/robots, cleaning break rooms, etc.)Assist with Preventative Maintenance processesFulfill special needs or tasks as determined by plant staffParticipate actively in plant safety and housekeeping programsPreferred Experience 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishUnderstand verbal and written instructionsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task effectivelyExcellent internal and external customer service skillsAbility to work well both independently and in a team environmentIntermediate mathematical skills requiredWhy Join Us?
