Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments.This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to contribute to infrastructure strategy, architecture decisions, and long-term technology planning while partnering closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure IaaS/PaaS, Intune, and Microsoft 365Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online (Hybrid), SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, along with related security, compliance, and governance toolsManage hybrid identity and access solutions including Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, privileged access, and identity lifecycle managementDevelop and maintain endpoint management solutions using Intune, SCCM/MECM, Group Policy, and MDM/MAM technologiesMonitor infrastructure health, system availability, and performance across cloud and on-prem environments; troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through root-cause analysisSupport backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives aligned with enterprise RPO/RTO requirementsCreate and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, provisioning, reporting, and system administration tasksCollaborate with security, networking, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives and infrastructure improvementsServe as a Tier 3 escalation point for critical infrastructure and systems issuesMentor junior engineers and contribute to improving operational processes and technical standardsMaintain accurate documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational proceduresQualifications6+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Senior Systems Administrator role within an enterprise environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferredStrong hands-on experience with:Windows Server and Active DirectoryMicrosoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)Microsoft Azure including identity, networking, security, and core cloud servicesIntune and endpoint/mobile device managementPowerShell scripting and automationCore networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and hybrid connectivityExperience supporting hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skillsWillingness to travel up to 20%
