Senior Aruba Network EngineerLocation: Vienna, VA6 month contract-to-hire$70 to $80 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $150K to $160K annuallySummaryWe are seeking a Senior Aruba Network Engineer with deep expertise in Aruba enterprise networking technologies, including Aruba ClearPass, Aruba CX switching, and wireless infrastructure. This role will focus on designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network environments while partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and support Aruba networking and wireless solutionsImplement and manage Aruba ClearPass NAC environmentsConfigure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing, segmentation, QoS, and wireless connectivitySupport 802.1X authentication, guest access, BYOD onboarding, and role-based access controlsIntegrate ClearPass with Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, MFA, and security platformsPerform network optimization, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance activitiesCreate technical documentation, implementation plans, and network diagramsCollaborate with security and infrastructure teams on Zero Trust and segmentation initiativesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers as neededRequirementsAssociates Degree or higher in IT, CS or related7+ years of enterprise networking experience3+ years of hands-on Aruba ClearPass experienceStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, NAC, RADIUS/TACACS+, and wireless networkingExperience with Aruba CX switching and Aruba wireless platformsExperience integrating NAC solutions with identity and directory servicesStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to support occasional after-hours maintenance and travel up to 35%Bonus SkillsAruba certifications (ACSA, ACSP, ACCP, ACDX)Experience with Aruba Central, Dynamic Segmentation, or Zero Trust architecturesFamiliarity with Cisco, Arista, or Palo Alto environmentsScripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, or REST APIsExperience with monitoring and observability platformsWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
