Chicago, IL?? $55K – $65KPosition OverviewA growing industrial organization in the Chicago area is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations, employee programs, and administrative functions. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced team environment.The position provides exposure to multiple areas of HR including payroll coordination, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and leadership supportKey ResponsibilitiesPayroll & Employee RecordsAssist with weekly payroll processing and review employee time recordsMaintain employee files and HR documentationHelp ensure payroll records and timekeeping information are accurateSupport onboarding paperwork and employee record managementBenefits AdministrationAssist with employee benefits administration including health and retirement plansRespond to employee questions regarding benefits programsSupport benefits enrollment and updatesMaintain accurate records related to eligibility and coverageHR Support & Employee RelationsServe as a point of contact for general HR questionsAssist with employee relations matters and HR documentationSupport updates to company policies and proceduresHelp maintain HR compliance documentation and employee handbook updatesEmployee Engagement & CultureSupport internal employee engagement initiativesCoordinate employee recognition activities and team eventsHelp organize training sessions, meetings, and company programsMaintain internal calendars related to employee milestones and activitiesAdministrative & Leadership SupportAssist leadership with scheduling, meeting coordination, and communicationsHelp manage calendars and internal administrative prioritiesSupport special projects and organizational initiatives as neededQualifications1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, office administration, or employee supportStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage confidential information with discretionStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office or similar business softwarePreferred ExperienceExposure to HR systems or payroll platformsExperience supporting leadership or office operationsInterest in developing a career in Human ResourcesWhat This Role OffersExposure to multiple areas of HROpportunity to grow within HR and administrative leadership functionsCollaborative team environmentHands-on experience supporting employee programs and operations
