CADWorx Piping Design Technician
Job DescriptionA CADWorx Piping Design Technician to independently develop and coordinate piping designs for complex industrial projects across sectors such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor. This role requires deep CADWorx expertise and strong knowledge of piping systems, supporting high-quality model development, interdisciplinary coordination, and adherence to design standards. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, detail-oriented designer who can contribute technical insight while managing their work with minimal oversight.Required:Associate's degree in Design Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience of +2 years). 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductors. Proficiency in CADWorx for piping design and modeling. At least 3 years of solid and recent CADWorx usage. Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation. Demonstrated ability to work independently with general oversight while managing your assigned design tasks. Strong communication and coordination skills within a multi?discipline team environment. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracyPreferred:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or similar curriculum. Experience in semiconductor facilities. Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations and how they influence routing and support design. Experience with QA/QC workflows, model health reviews, and specification-driven design. Advanced capability with CADWorx such as specs and trouble-shooting. Prior leadership in Piping teams, including oversight of model consistency and deliverable quality.Job Responsibilities:As a Senior-Level CADWorx Piping Designer, you'll independently develop piping designs, lead portions of project scope, and coordinate directly with engineers and other disciplines.
