The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and works in close collaboration with the team in Deer River (20 minutes away). The modern 20-bed Critical Access Hospital in Deer River provides 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage services.Opportunity:Family Medicine - HospitalistJoin a growing team of 4 MDs and 4 Nurse Practitioners in a collaborative practice environment. This position offers a flexible FTE range from 0.6 to 1.0, allowing for work-life balance while providing comprehensive care.Job Details:No OB requiredClinic work primarily in Grand RapidsHospitalist work at Deer River HospitalHospitalist call approximately 1 week every 6 weeks (physicians serve as backup after ER docs)Hospitalist coverage includes 3-4 day stretches every 6 weeks in Deer RiverAdditional opportunities for colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, and EGDsBoard Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine requiredServe a population of approximately 45,000 in the greater service areaCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
