Purpose:
Qualifications:
Ability to use utility knife and common hand tools safely
Ability to read tape measure with decimal and fraction scale
Ability to operate line controls located after the shear
Ability to read and understand work order requirements
Be familiar with material acceptance standards per grading criteria
Trained in operation of the coiler
High attention to detail
Primary Functions:
Inspect all panels for defects
Stack panels on skids or dollies
Checks width and length and assists the Dry End Group Lead with measuring squareness of the panel
Operate panel coiler ensuring the material is coiled straight
Label each panel per work order
Ensure automatic labelers are stocked at all times
Roll film at the treadmill on startups and changeovers
Count panels and notify the Dry End Group Lead when a run or skid is near completion to signal changeover
Maintain acceptable 5S standards for the Dry End of the lines
Provide necessary support on the line wherever needed when issues arise as directed by the Shift Supervisor or the Group Lead2nd Shift (Nights) 5pm-5am
