I'm partnering with a well-established commercial equipment manufacturer that's expanding its technical support and training team. This is a direct-hire, non-union opportunity designed for experienced commercial field service professionals who are ready to step out of constant truck time and into a more strategic, support-driven role—without losing their technical edge.

Kansas-based candidates strongly preferred
Must be open to travel as needed for
Equipment start-ups
Training sessions
Travel may extend regionally or nationwide depending on project needs
What You'll Do
Become a product expert across a broad commercial equipment portfolio
Lead technical training for contractors and internal teams, including:
Equipment overview
Start-up procedures
Troubleshooting and diagnostics
Provide advanced technical support via phone, email, and jobsite visits
Support start-ups and resolve field issues with practical, real-world solutions
Maintain proficiency in related control systems
Partner with engineering, sales, and warranty teams to ensure smooth project execution
Contribute feedback to product design and launch initiatives
Stay current on product updates, service bulletins, and training materials
Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
What They're Looking For
Background in commercial field service (HVAC, mechanical systems, or similar)
Strong troubleshooting and application support experience
Comfortable presenting, training, and explaining technical concepts
Willingness to obtain manufacturer certifications (company-paid)
Ability to travel extensively when required
OSHA 10-Hour Safety certification (or willingness to complete)
