Pre-Construction Manager

This role is ideal for a professional who values Safety, Integrity, Trust, and Excellence and is eager to play a key role in shaping projects from inception to completion.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with owners, architects, and design professionals throughout the project lifecycle, including conceptual planning, design development, construction documentation, budget preparation, and project transition to operationsDevelop conceptual budgets early in the project based on client-provided unit metrics.Conduct constructability reviews at various design stages to ensure feasibility and efficiency.Prepare detailed and accurate estimates that clearly outline project costs and scope at different phases.Create final contract exhibits that reflect the approved budget for client approval and execution.Perform value engineering studies to address budget concerns and propose cost-effective solutions.Utilize bidding software to prepare detailed instructions for bidders, trade-specific clarifications, and comprehensive bid packagesReview and validate subcontractor bids and proposed project schedules.Engage in subcontractor and client outreach to expand partnerships and business opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry and community events and actively participate in business development activitiesInnovate and enhance pre-construction practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industryProvide training and mentorship for pre-construction staff as opportunities arise.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSAbility to read, navigate, and interpret project plans and specificationsProficiency in preparing and presenting proposals and project estimatesCapable of managing multiple assignments concurrently with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of four years of relevant experience in pre-construction management.Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practicesIf you are a detail-driven, strategic thinker with experience in pre-construction planning and project management, we encourage you to apply.J-18808-Ljbffr
