Job SummaryA Varsity Club Advisor is a faculty member responsible for overseeing and supporting the activities of the varsity club in a school. The varsity club typically consists of student athletes who have achieved a high level of excellence in their respective sportsEssential Functions And ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and guidance to club officers and members.Help develop club goals, objectives, and initiatives for the academic year.Oversee the recruitment and selection process for varsity club membership.Ensure that eligible student athletes are recognized and invited to join the club.Organize club meetings, events, and activities throughout the school year.Coordinate special events such as award ceremonies, banquets, and community service projects.Coordinate the recognition of student athletes' achievements, both within the club and at school-wide events.Organize awards programs to honor outstanding athletic performances, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.Provide support and resources to help student athletes balance their academic and athletic responsibilities.Offer guidance on topics such as time management, goal setting, and leadership development.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.Education And ExperienceEducation/experience as accepted by the school board and administration
