Junior Solutions Architect
Overview
You support federal civilian pursuits by researching technologies, building technical artifacts, and drafting proposal content. You collaborate with experienced architects to learn the end-to-end pursuit and solutioning lifecycle. You develop foundational expertise in cloud, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, or DevSecOps. You contribute to internal initiatives and CTO Office tools while familiarizing yourself with federal acquisition processes. This growth-focused role prepares you to advance into a senior solutions architecture position.

ResponsibilitiesSupport solution architects on federal civilian pursuits by researching technologies, developing artifacts, and drafting technical contentBuild foundational expertise in one or more architecture domains (cloud, application modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, DevSecOps, or managed services)Develop technical artifacts including system diagrams, data flows, vendor comparison matrices, and reference materials under senior guidanceDraft sections of technical proposal volumes for review and refinement by senior solution leadsConduct technology research on vendor capabilities, federal compliance, and trends to inform solution decisionsParticipate in solutioning sessions, customer meetings, and capture activities as a learning team memberBuild familiarity with federal acquisition processes, the proposal lifecycle, and gate review frameworkContribute to internal initiatives such as reusable artifact development, technology assessments, and CTO Office tools
Key requirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant IT/engineering experienceFoundational hands-on experience in at least one architecture domain: cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), application development, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, or DevSecOpsStrong learning agility and intellectual curiosityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple prioritiesU.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearancelearning agilitystrong written and verbal communicationcollaborationcloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)application developmentcybersecurity
