This internship is designed to give a Computer Science student the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of IT, including software development, process automation and data workflows. The ideal candidate should be open to team collaboration, and be a highly motivated self-starter who can work both as part of a team and independently.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & AutomationAssist with the development and testing of internal tools using Python, Java, or JavaScriptParticipate in the design and implementation of RPA workflows to automate repetitive business tasksLearn and apply automation platforms such as Power Automate and UiPathQuality Assurance & DocumentationSupport QA testing across various IT initiativesAssist with documentation and version control practicesUse tools like Git to manage and track code changesData, APIs & IntegrationWork with APIs and data sources to support reporting, integrations, and dashboardsAgile Collaboration & TeamworkAttend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings following Agile/Scrum practicesContribute to process improvement discussions and team brainstorming sessionsCollaborate with team members using tools such as JiraLearning & Professional DevelopmentLearn new technologies, tools, and frameworks as required for project workMiscellaneousSupport our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsCurrently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldAbility to think analytically and should be a problem solverAbility to operate calmly in a high-pressure environmentFamiliarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologiesProficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++Comfortable working with both front-end and back-end logicInterest in automation, system design, or enterprise software developmentStrong communication skills and a willingness to learn and ask questionsTime management and ability to meet deadlinesReports ToVice president, ITCompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
