General Labor/dock installer
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Installer/General Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of docks, as well as performing general labor tasks around the work site. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and have a postive attitude. Prior experience in dock installation or general labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Call 269-447-4796
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of docks and related structures.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
Prepare work sites by clearing debris, and organizing materials.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas as needed.
Skills
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Basic understanding of construction or marine installation processes is advantageous.
Strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly.
Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability.
Prior experience with hand tools or power tools is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. This position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in construction or marine infrastructure projects while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60.0 per week
