Our South Bend, IN location supports these efforts by focusing on supply chain excellence and operational efficiency to meet customer demands globally.As a Senior Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing complex production schedules to ensure seamless supply chain operations and meet customer delivery commitments. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, analyze demand and supply data, and implement strategic planning initiatives to enhance production efficiency and responsiveness.You will report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location on an On-site work schedule.In this role, you will impact the overall production planning process by driving accurate scheduling, ensuring timely material availability, and proactively addressing supply chain challenges, thereby supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules to align supply with demand effectively across multiple product lines.Analyze production performance metrics and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines while maximizing resource utilization.Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve supply chain issues promptly.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes and overall supply chain efficiency.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEExperience in production planning or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.Strong expertise in production scheduling, inventory control, and material requirements planning (MRP) systems.Proficiency with ERP software such as SAP or PeopleSoft to manage production data and schedules.Ability to analyze complex demand and supply data to optimize production plans and resolve scheduling conflicts.WE VALUEBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.Experience with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and inventory optimization techniques.Knowledge of advanced production planning tools and methodologies.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence decision-making processes.In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
