Licensed Healthcare Compliance Counsel

A company is looking for a Counsel, Legal and Compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide legal and compliance support in client contracting and vendor management Address HIPAA privacy and security issues and general operational matters Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations Required Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing preferred 3-7 years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare, health IT, or RCM Hands-on experience with contract drafting and negotiation Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH privacy and security rule requirements Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and OIG guidance
