Janitor/Floor Care

Job Summary: The Janitor/Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly conditions in various facilities such as offices, commercial buildings, apartment complexes, and industrial spaces. This role focuses on floor care and general cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for occupants and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Floor Care & Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions Remove chips, trash, and other debris from floors and work areas Dust and clean equipment, furniture, and fixtures Polish metal fixtures and trimmings to maintain appearance General Maintenance & Support: Provide cleaning supplies and perform minor maintenance services as needed Clean and sanitize lavatories, showers, and restrooms Maintain cleanliness in factory working areas, offices, and other assigned spaces Qualifications: Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely Basic understanding of sanitation and hygiene standards Physical ability to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment Preferred Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services, especially in floor care Work Environment: Indoor work in office, industrial, or commercial settings May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment noise GENCO General Contractors of P.R.
