Job Title: Administrative Assistant I – CBT Lab ProctorPay Rate: $15 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 6:15 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional weekends requiredJob SummaryThe CBT Lab Proctor plays a key role in supporting the delivery of multimedia and conventional training modules in a classroom environment. This individual provides essential administrative, technical, and student support to ensure smooth, secure, and effective training sessions.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMonitor classroom environments—both multimedia and conventional—and promptly address dishonest or disruptive conduct. Assist training technicians during on-site training sessions as needed. Provide basic instructions and assistance to students using computer equipment (e.g., mouse, keyboard) and multimedia courses. Respond to general questions and troubleshoot minor technical issues; escalate significant problems to technical support. Maintain organization and cleanliness of all equipment and workstations; ensure start-up and shut-down procedures are followed daily. Accurately enter student data into databases and retrieve or verify test scores upon course completion. Adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of the training environment. Participate in off-site training sessions as required, which may involve occasional travel. Qualifications And Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or three (3) years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create routine reports and speak effectively before groups. Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations and instructions. Physical DemandsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods; regularly required to reach, handle, or feel objects, and to talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly required to lift or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently up to 50 pounds. Must be able to distinguish close, distant, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and adjust focus as needed. Work EnvironmentModerate noise level typical of educational and training settings. Some travel required to assist with off-site training sessions.
