The Senior Program Director provides overall leadership and administrative oversight for integrated outpatient clinics in Olean and Salamanca, including substance use (OASAS) and mental health (OMH) services. This role ensures high-quality clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and effective program performance in alignment with the agency’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision to Clinical Supervisors, clinical staff, and administrative leadership as assigned.
Oversee daily operations, program planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.
Ensure compliance with OMH, OASAS, CARF, and all state and federal regulations.
Monitor audits, data reporting, quality assurance activities, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, medical directors, and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and fiscal sustainability.
Support staff recruitment, training, onboarding, supervision, and professional development.
Represent the agency at community and stakeholder meetings.
Respond to emergent or crisis situations as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership, supervisory, and project management skills.
Advanced knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
Experience with regulatory compliance, audits, and program evaluation.
Ability to analyze data, oversee documentation, and prepare reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with community partners.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure required (LCSW, LMHC-D preferred).
Valid driver’s license required.
Must meet NYS OASAS training requirements, including Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
