Location: Anang Cannabis Dispensary - as designated - Onsite Reports To: Cannabis Dispensary Assistant Manager Probationary Period: 90 days – Full time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Classification: Non-Child Related NA Driver's License: Level 0 - No Driver's License required. Rate of Pay: $17.31 to $19.47 hourly rate Responsibilities Greeting and welcoming customers. Informing the store manager of customer complaints and operational issues. Checking client IDs and inputting each into the software system. Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis. Processing customers' payments. Ensuring that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized. Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products. Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required. Studying the potential benefits that each strain offers and instructing each customer on the different strains of cannabis and types of cannabinoids offered by Fond du Lac. Performing daily cash handling procedures described in the SOPs if your day involves handling cash or currency. Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary. Qualifications No Driver's License required. High school diploma or equivalent is required One year of retail, sales, or cash handling experience is required; Two years of retail or sales experience is preferred. Possesses a high degree of motivation and commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Some travel may be required. Physical Requirements Normal physical requirements with some lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. Ability to stand approximately 6 hours a shift.
