Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities Provide test and manufacturing support for sub components in the Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production lines. Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices. Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions. Assist development of new processes for cleaning glass substrates for thin film deposition. Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow. Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.QualificationsMUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics 2+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering disciplineWe Value Product or process engineering experience. Experience with thin film deposition, optics, laser systems, high vacuum systems Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects. Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions. Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions. Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream). Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams. Root Cause Corrective Action / Lean / Six SigmaThe annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $142,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
