Compounding Pharmacist
Position Summary
Pharmacist will provide leadership and direction for all compounding pharmacy related services. The incumbent will be directly responsible for pharmacy operations, medication access, patient care, sterile and non-sterile compounding, accreditation, and strategies for business growth and service development.
Education Minimum BS in Pharmacy; Masters or Pharm D preferred. Sterile training and/or certification highly desired, not required.
Experience Registered Pharmacist (current licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Connecticut).
This position requires thorough understanding (after training period) of sterile and non-sterile compounded drug preparation, administration, and patient consultation.
Knowledge of drug data systems and statistical methods. Computer literacy.
Must be a personable, friendly, organized team player with strong communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour
