Process Control Engineer
Overview
In this role you drive continuous improvement in beverage production through automation upgrades and control systems expertise. You will lead PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, process control design, and cross-functional collaboration to boost plant reliability and efficiency. You’ll mentor technicians and develop training plans to uplift the team. ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve automation system issues using PLCs, HMIs, and Ethernet networks; identify root causes and implement permanent fixesPerform predictive maintenance using condition monitoring to prevent unexpected breakdowns and issue PM work ordersAnalyze performance trends and drive root cause corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiencyLead continuous improvement projects and apply engineering solutions to enhance plant performance and machine uptimeOversee automation infrastructure upgrades and develop disaster recovery strategies for system resilienceDesign and implement process control strategies to optimize production efficiencyDevelop and program PLC, SCADA, and DCS for process automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation technologies on production linesLead capital projects and system upgrades involving automationWork with control systems such as Rockwell PlantPAx, Siemens PCS7, Honeywell Experion, or Emerson DeltaVSpecialize in continuous process manufacturing including beverage bottling, pasteurization, and brewing to align automation with industry requirements
