Electrical Engineer

Overview In this role you will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for Hybrid SATCOM across aerospace platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure mission-critical communications meet performance, environmental, and regulatory standards. You drive system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to optimize reliability and interoperability. ResponsibilitiesDesign and integrate electrical systems for Hybrid SATCOM architectures (RF, networking, power, interfaces).Perform system analysis, design validation, and optimize performance for satellite communications across networks.Create and maintain electrical schematics, interface control documents, wiring diagrams, and specifications.Support integration and testing of SATCOM hardware, RF components, modems, antennas, and network equipment.Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve electrical and communication system issues in lab and field settings.Collaborate with systems, network, software, and RF engineers to ensure end-to-end SATCOM interoperability.Verify, validate, and qualify electrical and communication systems to meet standards.Support secure and resilient SATCOM implementations, including redundancy and cybersecurity requirements.Analyze test data, generate technical reports, and provide engineering recommendations for program execution.Participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and customer meetings to communicate status and risks.Support system integration and troubleshooting of hardware issues; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; analyze test data and propose design improvements; contribute to technical documentation and reporting Key requirementsHard requirement for knowledge of Hybrid SATCOM architectures and RF principles.Experience with systems integration, troubleshooting, verification/validation, and technical documentation for electrical and communication systems.Ability to work independently and contribute to technical decision-making.Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required.collaboration across engineering and program teamsstrong analytical and problem-solving abilitieseffective communication in technical reviews and customer meetingsSATCOM architectures (military and commercial)RF concepts, antennas, and modemsnetwork integration and protocol knowledge
