Manufacturing Technician PositionSirius Staffing is seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Technician position in St. Louis, MO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!Schedule: M-F, 2p-10:30pPay: $23.00/hour + 7% Shift DifferentialSummary: The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setting up and preparing products according to current manufacturing procedures, cleaning equipment and manufacturing suites after production operations, completing batch records during production, and following all safety and quality policies at all times.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate processing equipment such as filter integrity testing systems, Watson-Marlow pumps, autoclaves, and high-throughput bag lines.Deliver products to the warehouse using a motorized pallet jack.Perform production operations such as hand filling, preparing fill equipment, and aseptic gowning and qualification.Clean equipment and work areas after production operations.Coordinate the appropriate disposal of waste and complete all required compliance documentation.Communicate the status of production operations and equipment; report deviations to the supervisor.Complete accurate and thorough batch records consistent with quality guidelines.Execute batch records in SAP.Ensure all applicable logbooks are filled out completely.Follow production procedures and safety policies at all times.Use, clean, and store all personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.Label all in-process equipment and containers properly.Identify and resolve unsafe conditions promptly.Participate in safety and quality training activities.Support all activities of Manufacturing Technicians I; communicate and document the status of processes, products, and equipment.Perform in-process assays.Set up, dispense, and package technically challenging products.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing experienceSAP experience requiredAseptic technique experienceAbility to pass a physical examinationCapability to wear PPE and work with chemicals or substancesPreferredSome college or an Associates degree preferredKnowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and scienceExperience with safe chemical handlingExperience with osmometers or pipetting preferredStrong communication (oral and written), computer, mechanical, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsSirius Staffing Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
