Supplier Management & Labor Optimization SpecialistThe Supplier Management & Labor Optimization Specialist is responsible for sourcing, managing, and optimizing third-party labor suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and operational continuity across warehouse and logistics operations. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, and HR to improve labor utilization and vendor performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and manage staffing agencies and labor service providersLead contract negotiation, rate benchmarking, and cost optimization initiativesMonitor supplier KPIs including attendance rate, fulfillment rate, turnover, and productivityReconcile vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies related to hours, bonuses, and incentivesAnalyze labor demand forecasts and recommend optimized workforce allocation strategiesCoordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to address urgent labor needsEnsure supplier compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety standardsDevelop standardized SOPs for vendor onboarding, performance review, and offboardingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Supply Chain, or related field2+ years of experience in supplier management, workforce planning, or vendor operationsStrong analytical skills with experience using Excel, HRIS, or labor tracking systemsExperience working with staffing agencies or third-party labor vendors preferredExcellent communication and negotiation skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with labor cost modeling and productivity metricsAbility to manage multiple vendors in a fast-paced environment
