Job Title: Quality Assurance ManagerLocation:100% RemotePay Range: $35.00 - $37.00/HourEmployment Type: ContractDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)Description:The Experience of Care Specialist II is responsible for managing and resolving formal patient complaints, grievances, and appeals in compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and organizational policies. This role conducts detailed investigations into quality-of-care and service-related concerns, drafts written grievance responses, and collaborates closely with clinical leadership, Legal, Risk Management, and Quality teams.The position requires managing complex, sensitive cases, engaging directly with patients and families, and ensuring regulatory timelines and documentation standards are met. This is a non-clinical, administrative role and does not involve hands-on patient care.Key Requirements:Experience handling patient complaints, grievances, or appeals in a healthcare settingWorking knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission grievance requirementsStrong written communication skills, including drafting formal patient correspondenceAbility to manage high-conflict situations with professionalism and discretionExperience collaborating with clinical, legal, or risk management partners.Mandatory Skills:Experience handling patient complaints, grievances, or appeals in a healthcare settingWorking knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission grievance requirements
