Mechanic - Small Engine (49148)

This position will be responsible for performing service and repairs on our truck fleet (including diesel engines), small engine equipment, and 2-cycle engines for our landscape operations team.Juniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company servicing the Southeast. Join our company, where we Welcome/Grow/Celebrate you at Juniper!Duties and Responsibilities:Repair of trucks, trailers, and landscape equipment correctly, safely, and efficientlyAccurately document all work performed to each unit electronicallyUtilize computer software for record keepingOrder and maintain inventory of all shop supplies/equipmentClean repaired items prior to returning for crew useKeep work area and shop common areas clean and organizedPerform other duties as assignedSkills and Requirements:Small Engine repair/maintenance experience required2-cycle engine repair/maintenance experience requiredLight Truck repair/maintenance experience preferredProficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS OfficeValid driver's license and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Report review requiredAbility to read and write the English languageBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not requiredAbility to work in fast pace environment.Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to use hand tools and power equipmentMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
