Sr Technology Engineer

Senior Technology EngineerPosition Overview We are seeking a Senior Technology Engineer to lead the design, delivery, and operational readiness of technology systems for healthcare facilities. The role requires deep experience with RCDD-certified designs and proven experience in healthcare projects, ensuring solutions meet clinical, regulatory, and reliability requirements. The Senior Technology Engineer will drive technical direction, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design and delivery of technology infrastructure for healthcare facilities, including requirements gathering, conceptual and detailed design, construction support, testing, and commissioning.Develop and review construction drawings, layouts, and system calculations to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and codes.Design and specify voice/data network architectures and perform equipment selection to meet performance, availability, and scalability requirements.Specify and integrate audio visual and security systems to meet clinical and operational objectives, coordinating interfaces with other building systems.Ensure all designs comply with healthcare regulations, building codes, NFPA, HIPAA-related considerations for data/security, and other applicable standards.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and fostering professional development.Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, IT stakeholders, and facility operations to resolve design and installation issues and maintain project schedules.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, as-built drawings, and system operation manuals and support project closeout activities.Perform site visits and construction administration to verify installations align with design intent, resolve field questions, and support testing and commissioning activities.Contribute to project scope development, cost estimating, risk assessment, and value engineering to ensure feasible and cost-effective solutions.QualificationsRequired: RCDD certification (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).Required: Proven experience designing and delivering technology systems for healthcare projects, with an understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum 7+ years of experience in technology systems engineering, with demonstrated responsibility for healthcare facility projects.Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices for cabling, networks, AV, and security systems and experience with system testing and commissioning.Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.Nice to have: Experience producing construction drawings, detailed layouts, and performing system calculations.Nice to have: Hands-on experience with voice/data network design, equipment selection, audio visual integration, and security systems.Nice to have: BICSI membership or certification and familiarity with BICSI best practices.Benefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Relocation Telecommute Email Your Resume In Word ToMatt.Lynch@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
