Work Dates Needed: As soon as accepted, and credentialing and security clearance, for one base year, plus one option year Preferred Schedule: M-F, 8:30a-5p (no weekends, holidays, or OT) Worksite Setting: Veteran Healthcare facility Scope of Work: Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of Anatomic Pathology Care for Veterans, No autopsy expectation; 100-150 surgical pathology cases per month; Work alongside 3 other surgical pathologists; Mainly GI, GU, lung, head/neck and basic skin biopsies; Frozen section interpretations, but no other subspecialty needed Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Full unrestricted license any state; possess medical degree (MD) or an equivalent degree resulting from course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine, Shall be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology, Must have 5 years experience within the past three years (exceptions may be considered for those with other strong experience); EMR: VISTA/CPRS
