Student Program Coordinator

Student Program CoordinatorThe Student Program Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of student programming and events that foster engagement, community, and connection among students, faculty, and SCL visitors. This role will manage event logistics, communications, and operational support, collaborates with campus partners, and ensures a welcoming, well-organized experience for students, staff, and guests. Responsibilities include: Coordinate and manage student events from planning through execution, including RSVP tracking, invitations, setup, on-site support, and breakdown for in-person and virtual programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for event logistics; coordinate space reservations, technology needs, catering, facilities, tables, and supplies in collaboration with campus partners, student organizations, and Student Housing. Order and manage event materials, including SCL-branded merchandise, catering, and supplies. Process travel for staff and invited guests, including RTAs, documentation, booking travel, coordinating with guests, and preparing itineraries. Assist with event marketing efforts, including designing posters and invitations and managing student-facing communications related to programming, advising, and career development. Maintain event, recruitment, and office supplies; manage inventory of print materials, signage, and swag; purchase materials through approved vendors using ProCard and purchase orders in collaboration with the Business Affairs Administrative Manager. Support SCL website updates by gathering photos, editing copy, and completing periodic design and content revisions. Collaborate with internal administrative partners to maintain office supplies and general upkeep of the Littlefield Home and Littlefield Carriage House. Oversee space availability, maintain the events calendar, and serve as backup support for USO staff. Engage with students and faculty to foster a welcoming community. Attend internal meetings to stay current on University purchasing policies and procedures. Assist with the development and implementation of the SCL student survey. Perform other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least three years of experience coordinating or administering a program, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary range is $55,000+ depending on qualifications.
