Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Position Summary: Develop, operate, and enhance an in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS). Initially, this role will focus on addressing a growing development backlog while improving development speed and system quality. Responsibilities will later expand to other core internal logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain WMS functionality, UI components, and API integrations. Perform detailed design, coding, and unit/integration testing. Gather requirements and operational challenges from warehouse staff and internal stakeholders and translate them into system improvements. Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and perform database-related tasks. Recommend architectural and technology improvements for future development. Collaborate within a five-member software development team.

Required: 2+ years of professional web system development experience. Hands-on Node.js and React development experience. RDB database design and query experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).Team development experience using Git or similar version control tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work directly with technical and operational teams.

Preferred: Next.js development experience. WMS, logistics/supply chain, or e-commerce platform development experience. External API integration experience, such as Shopify or shipping/logistics APIs. Experience with AI-assisted development tools or LLM APIs (Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.).Automation/workflow tools such as n8n. AWS, GCP, or Azure experience. Japanese language ability.
