In this job, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate billing and regulatory compliance involving Medicare beneficiaries. You will leverage your expertise in Medicare coverage policies to analyze research protocols, determine appropriate billing codes, and support the smooth execution of research studies.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA), identifying services and items covered by Medicare and those considered research-related.Utilize your in-depth knowledge of National Coverage Determinations (NCDs) and other relevant regulations to ensure compliant billing practices.Work closely with investigators, research coordinators, and billing departments to develop and implement compliant billing plans.Maintain a deep understanding of Medicare billing codes and ensure their accurate application.Stay updated on the latest Medicare coverage policies and regulatory changes.Participate in the development and implementation of internal processes for compliant billing.Contribute to the overall success of endeavors by ensuring timely and accurate billing practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Public Health) or equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years of experience in Medicare coverage analysis (MCA) or a related field.Strong understanding of Medicare coverage policies and procedures, including National Coverage Determinations (NCDs).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
