Electrical Engineer
Job description:

As an Electronics Technician, you’ll test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic products and printed circuit board assemblies. You’ll work with schematics, test equipment, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to help ensure our products perform reliably and meet customer expectations.
*WHAT YOU WILL DO*
* Test electronic products in accordance with written work instructions.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards to the component level.
* Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, thermocouple calibrators, and other test and measurement equipment.
* Read and interpret complex electronic schematics, diagrams, and PCB layouts.
* Develop and improve test procedures for new and existing electronic products.
* Perform maintenance and calibration on custom test equipment.
* Support validation testing of new product designs and conduct root-cause analysis of failures.
* Assist with the design, development, and implementation of new test equipment and procedures.
* Document test results, technical findings, processes, and procedures.
* Coordinate product testing, identify improvement opportunities, and share technical information that supports customers and internal teams.
* Partner professionally with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve production issues.
* Help train and certify other technicians as needed.
*WHO YOU ARE*
* Associate degree or higher in electronic engineering or a related field preferred; an Electronics Engineering Technology degree is preferred but not required.
* 0–3 years of electronic testing and troubleshooting experience.
* Working knowledge of electronics, digital logic, and analog circuits, with the ability to apply that knowledge to testing and component-level repair.
* Experience with test and measurement instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting and repair.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work safely, productively, and independently without constant supervision.
* Understanding of IPC principles and standards, including IPC-610 and J-STD-001.
* Excellent time-management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, including production, engineering, and management.
* Experience documenting processes and procedures in an ISO 9001 environment; SAP experience is a plus.
* Availability to work overtime as production needs require.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
