Your dedication will help enhance quality of life and foster trust within the community.ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility supportMonitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in conditionPrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessarySupport medication administration following care plans and HIPAA compliance standardsMaintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasksUse specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistanceDocument care activities accurately, including patient observations, medication logs, and incident reportsProvide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolationQualificationsPrior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferredKnowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practicesCertification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in HIPAA regulations is advantageousAbility to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocolsStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and familiesPhysical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer liftsExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs is a plusJoin us in providing compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
