Subject Matter Expert

Position: Subject Matter Expert – Applied Behavior Analysis Department: Academic Affairs Location: Miami Campus   Albizu University is a higher education institution committed to academic excellence, mental health training, and service to diverse communities, integrity, compliance and continuous improvement. We are looking for professionals who wish to contribute to an institutional culture based on integrity, compliance and continuous improvement.     MAIN FUNCTION The Content Expert will be responsible for developing the course in accordance with Quality Matters standards and institutional guidelines. This includes aligning assessments, instructional materials, and learning activities with the institution’s learning competencies and the course learning objectives. Professionals with academic training and experience are sought to design and develop online undergraduate-level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis.  REQUIREMENTS   Doctoral or master’s degree with BCBA board certification.  Professional or teaching experience in the field. Prior experience in online course design is preferred. Commitment to educational quality and innovation.     RESPONSIBILITIES   Participate in weekly meetings with the instructional design team from June 2026 through August 2026, in accordance with the established timeline. Design and develop online course content for fifteen (15) modules, following Quality Matters standards and current institutional guidelines. Develop content in which assessment strategies, instructional materials, and learning activities for each module are aligned with institutional learning competencies and course learning objectives. Create all course materials, including content, assessments, activities, and digital resources. Select supplementary resources (videos, readings, exercises, or other activities) that enhance the student learning experience. Advice on the development of criteria and instruments for assessing student learning. Contribute specialized expertise and reliable academic references to support course content. Collaborate closely with the assigned instructional designer to ensure alignment with learning objectives. Submit all content in editable digital format, properly organized and in accordance with institutional templates. Review and validate the accuracy, currency, and relevance of the developed content prior to final submission. Participate in institutional training related to online course development.
