Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense security clearance required.This is an on-site position located in Arlington, VA.ResponsibilitiesBecome familiar with SharePoint to evaluate and update the program office content to enable user friendly navigation and improve access to unclassified documentationReview and gain an understanding of security requirements outlined in DODM 5205.07 to assist with updating the program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Transcribe unclassified SOPs from printed documents to digital formatComplete SIMS Software training and become familiar with the accountability databaseAssist with local site visits and complete a report for each one that can be used to assess appropriateness for customer activitiesDevelop and create a database of local site visit report informationCollect and evaluate stakeholder requirements to plan for procurement of facility furniture and appliances associated with a facility construction projectEscort uncleared vendors during a construction project, supporting early morning arrivalsRequirementsActively enrolled college studentSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and independent thinkerAbility to collaborate within a team of security, IT, and project management personnel to solve problemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe hourly pay range for the Intern position is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives.
