The selected candidate will work collaboratively with technical disciplines such as cybersecurity, hardware engineering, software engineering, and systems engineering to achieve successful outcomes and mission success. This position requires a background with provisioning, integrating, and maintaining computer systems running Red Hat Linux.As a System Administrator within the DARC program you will get to:Perform as a Linux System Administrator for an enterprise classified networkProvide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.Implement and manage HPE HPC clustersRespond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, support development of corrective action and implement corrective actionsRecommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration managementCommunicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and oral formatBasic QualificationsPrincipal: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of experience; 9 years of total experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.Sr. Principal: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of experience; 12 years of total experience may be considered in lieu of completed degreeActive DoD Secret clearance at the time of application.Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists.Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.IAT Level II certification (ex. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
