Our environment relies heavily on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and repeatable deployment processes across compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes platforms.We are looking for a DevOps Engineer focused on CI/CD and Automation to own and evolve our software delivery and infrastructure pipeline ecosystem. This role is responsible for building, operating, and standardizing pipelines that power everything from infrastructure deployments to application delivery.This is a cross-functional role working closely with DevOps, infrastructure, platform, and development teams to ensure that all systems are deployed consistently, safely, and efficiently.What You’ll DoCI/CD Platform OwnershipOwn and operate the organization’s CI/CD platforms, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD (GitOps workflows)Design and standardize pipeline patterns across teams build pipelines, deployment pipelines, infrastructure pipelinesEnsure pipelines are reliable, repeatable, observableMaintain and improve pipeline performance and execution timesGitOps & Deployment WorkflowsImplement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCDDefine best practices for repository structure, branching strategies, promotion workflows (dev → staging → production)Ensure consistent deployment patterns across Kubernetes and infrastructure systemsAutomation & Infrastructure IntegrationBuild and maintain automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform (where applicable)Integrate CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure provisioning (e.g., MAAS, hypervisors), Kubernetes clusters, storage and networking systemsStandardize how infrastructure changes are deployed and validatedCross-Team EnablementWork across teams to onboard services into CI/CD pipelines, improve existing workflows, reduce manual deployment processesAct as a subject matter expert for pipeline design, automation strategies, deployment best practicesProvide guidance and support to engineers building pipelinesReliability & ObservabilityImplement monitoring and alerting for CI/CD systemsTroubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issuesImprove visibility into build failures, deployment outcomes, system healthContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve deployment safety,increase deployment velocityDrive standardization across teams without introducing unnecessary complexityWho You AreRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automationStrong hands-on experience with:GitHub and GitHub ActionsGit-based workflows and repository managementExperience implementing and operating GitOps workflows (ArgoCD preferred)Experience with automation tools such as:AnsibleTerraform or similarStrong understanding of:CI/CD pipeline designDeployment strategiesInfrastructure-as-code principlesExperience working in Linux-based environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Kubernetes-based platformsFamiliarity with:Multi-environment deployment strategiesSecrets management and secure pipeline designExperience working in high-scale or infrastructure-heavy environmentsExposure to infrastructure provisioning systems (e.g., MAAS or similar)Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines across multiple teamsWhat we offerStock Options100% paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for EmployeesCompany Health Savings Account Contributions100% paid Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance for EmployeesLife and Voluntary Supplemental Insurance OptionsOther Insurance Options, such as Pet & Legal InsuranceVarious Supplementary Health Benefits, such as discounted Virtual Healthcare Appointments and Serious Illness SupportFlexible Spending Account401(k)Employee Assistance ProgramFlexible PTOPaid HolidaysParental LeaveOther In-Office PerksEqual Employment OpportunityTensorWave is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
