The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in multifamily acquisitions, land development, and dispositions, with a strong preference for those who have worked in a family-owned/operated business. The role requires a proven track record in sourcing and structuring acquisition and ground-up development deals, as well as proficiency in financial modeling. A deep understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and underwriting is essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with financial teams for strategic decision-making and performance analysis. This leadership position demands a professional with a comprehensive responsibility for the overall performance of properties, a demonstrated ability to implement positive changes across various operational facets, and a proactive, supportive leadership style. The ideal candidate will be a skilled culture builder, an effective problem solver, and have extensive knowledge of capital markets, including experience in underwriting debt and equity and a strong track record of securing capital from various sources. The role also involves a focus on scaling the company through deepening relationships with equity partners and experience in expanding a multifamily portfolio through acquisitions and land development.
