JOB TITLETable Games Supervisor (Must be 21 years of age or older) DEPARTMENT: Table Games REPORTS TO: Table Games Manager SALARY: Grade 22 Range Start: $51,916.80/annually Range End: $77,875.20/annually CLASSIFICATION: Exempt, Non-Exempt (Dual License) SUPERVISES: Table Games Dealers JOB SUMMARY: This team member supervises assigned table games operations during an assigned shift. THIS POSITION IS CLASSIFIED AS A REDDING RANCHERIA TRIBAL KEY EMPLOYEEESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive: Directs the work of Table Games Department team members and directs assigned table games operations during an assigned shift; including the responsibilities of planning, assigning, and directing work. Responsible for coaching, rewarding, and evaluating team member performance. Responsible for addressing performance development action as needed. Responsible for addressing guest complaints and disputes, resolving problems, and other administrative requirements of the department. Assists in developing, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing departmental policies, procedures, and internal controls. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Assists in directing departmental operations in accordance with applicable gaming regulations, internal controls, departmental policies and procedures, and management directives. Responsible for maintaining control of cards. Responsible for all operations within an assigned table games area during a shift. Responsible for the integrity of the games. Responsible for all money/chip transfers during assigned shift. Ensures all Table Game Dealers are following applicable dealing procedures and guest service standards. Ensures Resort & Casino standards of guest service are being adhered to. Coordinates activity with other with other Table Games Supervisors and applicable departments, such as Security and Cage. Maintains daily logs. Carries out the day-to-day training of Table Games Dealers, as needed. Recommends the hiring, termination, promotion, or any other change of team member employment status to the Table Games Manager. Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino. Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino's guest service program. Other duties as assigned by the Table Games Manager. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSThe education requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of education than required will be reflected during the recruitment process: A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is required. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSThe experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process: Must be 21 years of age or older. Redding Rancheria tribal members must be 18 years of age or older. The ability to use independent judgment to make discretionary decisions regarding Resort & Casino operations is required. A strong understanding of the principles and practices of team member supervision is required. A strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence is required. The ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the Resort & Casino is required. A minimum of two (2) years experience in table games procedures, games, and dealing time on live tables is preferred. Excellent math skills are preferred. Occasionally sits, bends/stoops, climbs, reaches below shoulder level, and squats. Occasionally lifts/carries up to twenty five (25) pounds is required.
