Carpenter Position for Commercial Construction Projects

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team working on commercial construction projects. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, frameworks, flooring, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform framing work including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming with precision and safety awareness. Engage in trim carpentry including door hanging, cabinet installation, molding, and fixture setup. Assist with specialty tasks such as rebar installation and formwork. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing. Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately or the willingness and ability to learn. Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and performing demanding manual tasks over extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding use, rebar installation, metal stud framing, and working at heights. Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
