GSE Mechanic, Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Hello, we are looking for a couple of part time equipment mechanics to be on duty saturday and Sunday morning from 4am to 8am and another mechanic Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 8pm while they load and unload aircraft with freight.
We will be helping to pull equipment off if equipment breaks down and fix minor issues before the operation starts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Conduct inspections and test drive vehicles to assess their performance and identify any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Repair and replace faulty parts, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and farm machinery
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Operate heavy equipment to dig and move materials as required
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics tools and equipment
- Familiarity with brake repair and replacement procedures
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
