Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specialty (Sales) Development Executive, Invitae, Hereditary Cancer segment to cover Northern Indiana and Western Michigan.ResponsibilitiesMeet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in assigned territorySuccessfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updatesCold call and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievementAccurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities in-line with a 90-day quotaEffectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivityAttend local and national professional trade shows and events as requestedLearn and sell Integrated Oncology focused products and servicesEffectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospectsPerform in-services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staffCollaborate and actively contribute to new business opportunities with LCA counterpartsUpdate all relevant customer account information into CRM Data Management SystemsProvide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma5 or more years of experience in medical outside sales5 or more years of experience selling directly to physiciansPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences3 or more years of experience selling laboratory, diagnostics, or medical device solutions3 or more years of experience supporting rare disease, genetics, cardiology, neurology, or pediatric subspecialty marketsCurrent or prior Labcorp experienceAdditional Job StandardsProven success managing a book of businessAbility to collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to grow the businessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated track record of recent success and sales accomplishmentsStrong consultative selling and closing skillsAbility to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and use extensive and complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales processMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to travel 50% including occasional overnightsIdeal candidate will reside within Northern Indiana or Western Michigan Invitae is now part of Labcorp and dedicated to bringing comprehensive genetic information into mainstream medicine to improve healthcare for billions of people! We are leading the transformation of the genetics industry, by making clinical-grade genetic information affordable and accessible to guide health decisions across all stages of life.Recognized as one of Forbes 2026 “America's Best Large Employers”, Labcorp is seeking to hire a Specialty Development Executive, to help identify and shape opportunities for Labcorp's continued growth.As a Hereditary Cancer Specialty Development Sales Executive, you are responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of Invitae (Labcorp Genetics) and Laboratory Corporation of America (LCA) commercial products to Hospitals, Oncologists, Surgeons, and Genetic Counselors and regional reference laboratories in a territory that covers Northern Indiana and Western Michigan.Application Window: 5/22/2026Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
