It also serves as a primary technical accounting resource, guiding complex and non-routine transactions and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations in a private equity-owned environment.Manage a team of 3 AccountantsLed and Manage Month end close, journal entries, bank req's and financial statementsThe role leads the close process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in financial reporting, and oversees and develops a team of accounting professionals. It also serves as a primary technical accounting resource, guiding complex and non-routine transactions and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations in a private equity-owned environment.Prepare financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesDevelop, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policiesAnalyze financial results, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit and tax preparation activitiesSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting team membersQualifications: Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceBachelor’s degree required in either accounting or finance.Public Accounting and industry experience preferredCPA is required8+ years of overall experience with progressionManagement experienceExperience with foreign currency / FX accountingStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
