OverviewA national litigation firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its civil litigation practice in Orange County. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and highly organized who is looking to build experience within a fast-paced litigation environment and support attorneys handling complex, high-exposure matters.The position offers exposure to multiple practice areas, collaboration with attorneys and staff across offices nationwide, and opportunities for professional growth within a structured, team-oriented setting.What You Will Be DoingPrepare litigation documents, including pleading and discovery shells, and standard client or carrier correspondenceOrganize and maintain a wide range of documents such as forms, charts, letters, and case materialsCreate, manage, and maintain electronic files within document and matter management systemsAssist with opening and closing client matters, ensuring files are complete and accurately maintainedMaintain case captions, service lists, and matter organization across active filesProcess incoming and outgoing electronic service, ensuring documents are properly tracked and filedSupport attorneys and staff with case initiation materials and file transfer memorandaProvide general administrative support to ensure efficient workflow within the litigation teamWhat You'll BringStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and case materialsDemonstrated initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentInterest in learning the day-to-day operations of a busy civil litigation practice spanning multiple practice areasProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and familiarity with tools such as SharePoint and OneDriveExperience working in a professional office environment (law firm experience a plus, but not required)
