About The RoleThe role owns the analytical foundation for key business units, transforming raw event data and financial metrics into actionable insights, executive dashboards, and robust data models.The team works closely with product managers, software engineers, and finance leads to answer complex business questions, optimize user journeys, and establish reliable metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain scalable SQL queries, dbt models, and data pipelines in Snowflake and BigQuery to support core business metricsBuild interactive, high-performance dashboards in Tableau or Looker for executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersPartner with product managers to define KPIs, design A/B testing frameworks, and perform rigorous cohort and retention analysesPerform ad-hoc exploratory data analyses using Python or R to identify trends, user friction points, and growth opportunitiesEstablish and enforce data governance standards, data quality checks, and documentation across all core data assetsWrite clean, version-controlled SQL and Python code, participating in peer code reviews and analytical best practicesWhat We Are Looking For3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a technology environmentAdvanced SQL skills with expertise in window functions, CTEs, performance tuning, and dimensional modelingHands-on experience with modern data stack tools: dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, and BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or ModeDemonstrated proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and scriptingStrong communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex analytical findings into clear business recommendationsBonus: Experience with event tracking tools like Segment, Amplitude, or Mixpanel; familiarity with basic machine learning models
