Interior Plant Care Specialist

Dennis’ 7 Dees is a family-owned and operated business with deep roots in the Portland area. We are looking for a dedicated Interior Plant Care Specialist to deliver and maintain interior plants and exterior container displays assigned to their care. This role involves working on a structured schedule and maintaining interior foliage plants using accepted horticultural techniques. This is a year-round position with about 40 hours of work per week. Seasonal weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Drive to businesses around the Portland Metro region to provide interior plant services Water, clean, and maintain quality standards for indoor plants Update and maintain exterior container displays Use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses, and other small tools Apply leaf cleaners and insecticides using hand-held pump sprayers Fabricate and install holiday décor (October – January) Qualifications High school diploma/GED at minimum Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record 1-2 years of horticultural experience, with experience as a Horticultural Service Technician preferred Great customer service skills Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Clear communication and good people skills Ability to carry 10 lb. water buckets, bags of soil, and plants Ability to lift up to 65 pounds on a regular basis Ability to climb ladders and have good dexterous use of both hands Good vision and hearing Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, reach, crawl, and lift Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Benefits Competitive wages Weekly paychecks Affordable health insurance Paid vacation Paid sick leave Paid holidays 401K with generous company match 40% employee discount at retail locations On-the-job training Tuition reimbursement Substantial opportunities for professional growth within the company Uniforms provided
