Field Technician

Project OverviewThe role involves supporting machines located across the following stations:Chicago, IL (Millennium, Van Buren, Museum Campus, 57th Street)Key ResponsibilitiesRestocking ticket inventory (POS, One-way, Multi-ride tickets, and thermal paper rolls)Replacing monthly tickets (once per month before the 25th)Clearing ticket jams and performing basic maintenanceResetting devices (card readers, QR readers, etc.)Occasionally replacing components such as printersWork StructurePreventive maintenance: once per month (fixed scope) – $500.00Additional support: approximately 40–50 hours per month depending on incidents - Aprox $1000Hourly rate: $20.00/hourTravel time is included as part of working hoursService ExpectationsMachines must remain operational 24/7Issues should be resolved the same day or, at the latest, the next dayLogisticsMonthly visit to Carroll Ave (Michigan City) to pick up tickets and suppliesAccess to a support facility (Dage Building) for testing and spare partsScheduleFlexible schedule (morning or afternoon)However, availability must support response timesRequirementsReliable transportation (required)Ability to perform hands-on technical workBasic troubleshooting skillsGood time management and reliabilityIf you’re interested, please let me know and we can discuss your availability and any questions you may have.
